What Just Eat, Deliveroo and Uber Eats charge restaurants in the UK

Updated 25 September 2026 · 4 minute read

Commission is the biggest cost of selling on delivery apps. Here's what the published figures say for the UK, and why it makes your listing worth getting right.

Short answer: Uber Eats' UK pricing page lists a 30% fee on orders it delivers (33% for Uber One members) and 13% for self-delivery or pickup, plus a £650 initial fee. A January 2026 guide puts Just Eat at 14% commission plus a delivery fee. We couldn't find a published standard rate for Deliveroo.

How big is each app?

Lumina Intelligence estimates the UK food delivery market at £14.3 billion in 2025. In 2024, Uber Eats handled 27.2% of delivery occasions, Just Eat 25.2% and Deliveroo 16.2%.

What it means for your listing

If you're paying 14% to 30% on every order, you're already paying for the placement. A listing that ranks lower or converts fewer visitors than it could is wasting what you pay. The cheapest fixes (photos, descriptions, menu order, accuracy) cost nothing but time.
