Just Eat commission for restaurants in the UK (2026)

Updated 1 October 2026 · 3 minute read

Just Eat doesn't publish a simple public price list for restaurants the way Uber Eats does. Here's what the most detailed 2026 guide reports, and how to check what you actually pay.

Short answer: Deliverect's Just Eat guide (updated January 2026) lists a 14% commission on every order, plus 50p and VAT per order if you deliver yourself, or a charge of 5% of the order value (minimum 50p, capped at £1.99) if Just Eat delivers. Rates can differ by contract, so check your own agreement in Just Eat's Partner Hub.

These figures come from Deliverect's January 2026 guide, not from a public Just Eat price list. Other sites quote different figures, especially for orders Just Eat delivers, so treat your own contract as the final word.

Getting more for what you pay

Just Eat's help centre says its restaurant list is shaped by distance, new customer retention, operational performance and personalisation. Turning first-time customers into repeat ones is the biggest lever you control. See how to rank higher on Just Eat and how Just Eat ratings work.
